Hey guys, It's Rick at Elijah Tooling.
Give me two minutes and I'll make it worth it.
Listen, today I just wanted to give you a tip that I learned a long time ago.
An experience that was difficult for me.
I was in the 5th grade, and you're like "What?", he's going all the way back there?
But, something happened to me that I wasn't, that I had not expected, and that was that I got a D, my first D, ever in Algebra.
And the teacher had to call my parents in and nobody could figure out what was wrong.
To that point, I had done very well in school.
And, one of the things I realized, after the fact, was that there are some things in this world that you just gotta accept.
You may not be able to figure it all out.
You may not be able to get a handle on every last detail.
With that in mind, I've got a really cool product that we sell here.
A captive fastener that we use for quick-change.
We use it in modular fixture plates and in a lot of other places.
So my tip for the day is, you know what?
There are hundreds of thousands of these things out there, if you haven't tried this because you don't quite understand it all, I would just ask you, accept.
Other people are benefitting from this.
How about you?
See you next time!

You must think I lost my mind. What is Rick doing with all this bread?!
Well, fun fact, almost a century ago Otto Frederick Rohwedder had an innovation (you guessed it) it was the bread slicing machine! And ever since people have been saying, "that's better than sliced bread".
