Behind the Scenes

Invert-a-Bolt™ Fastener Clamping

Invert-a-Bolt™ fasteners are unobtrusive, allowing for easy access to the machined part without any interference with the machining process.

Their minimalistic design is unobtrusive yet highly effective, as they firmly grip the part from underneath. This leaves the top view unobstructed and doesn't limit access to the surface being worked on. The CNC machining process can proceed with precision and ease, thanks to the streamlined nature of these fasteners.

1990

The Beginning - Nissi

From Nissi to Elijah Tooling: A Journey of Perseverance and Innovation

Bothers Nicholas, Richard and Roger Miller incorporate the new company as Nissi Industrial Technology, Inc., providing out-sourced Numerical Control Programming Services to
the manufacturing industry.

1996

Selling Software

The company introduced CAT/ASSIST™ software, its first product, to users of CATIA software.

They grow quickly, but ultimately product does not succeed in the marketplace.

1997

The First Invert-a-Bolt

The company prototypes and sells the first Invert-A-Bolt™ fastener. For now, all production is outsourced to other machining companies.

A separate entity is created, doing business as Lines In Motion, Inc.

2000

All In

The software side of the company, Nissi Industrial Technology, is sold to Precision Machine and Manufacturing of Grove, Oklahoma.

Nicholas, Richard, and Roger continue ownership of the products side of the company, now officially named Lines In Motion, Inc.

The first patent for the Invert-a-Bolt™ is granted.

2005

A Turning Point

The company was not viable and accrued substantial dept in trying to survive. Richard (& wife Julie) purchase 100% of the company from Nicholas and Roger.

Sales increased and the products company finally becomes self-sustaining.

The company is renamed Elijah Tooling, Inc. The new name represents a change in direction and a focus more on the complete system under which Invert-A-Bolt™ fasteners are used.

The company purchases its first turning machine, a Swiss type Citizen FL-42. Much of the production of Invert-A-Bolt™ fasteners is brought in-house

2011

Growth

The company moves to a leased 4200 sq. ft. facility.

All production has been moved in-house and Elijah Tooling now owns 3 lathes and a newly purchased Haas VF3 mill to begin creating vises and modular fixtures.

The company reaches the historic goal of exceeding $1 million in revenue in one year.

2013

Doubling Down

The company introduces the ZipBushing™ Threaded Precision Locator Bushing concept which replaces the multi-purpose hole in modular fixturing.

The Elijah Tooling facility doubles in size and acquires another swiss lathe and 5 axis trunnion.

Elijah Tooling EZE-VISE

2017

New Horizons

The company develops the Flexvise, Eze-Vise and Increadi-Vise lines of machining vises and T-slot fasteners.

2021

Becoming Known

The company has acquired 8 products patents and buys a Haas VF-11 to machine large custom modular fixtures.

Elijah Tooling's social media efforts are rewarded by going from reaching 100,000 people monthly to 2,000,000+ people monthly.
