I get asked so many questions about our modular fixtures and the CNC workholding components inside them by curious CNC machinists and programmers. It really comes down to two main questions.
How do I use them?
How will they help me?
That's why we created a little plastic modular fixture that we can provide to you as a demo kit. It has many of the basic elements of a full-sized modular fixture in it. This gives you the ability to actually test the fixture out and quick-change something yourselves!
Let me walk you through the demo kit.
The Invert-A-Bolt™ Fasteners in this kit are our acrylic giveaway fasteners. The Invert-A-Bolt™ Fasteners is used to hold the part from the bottom, eliminate obstructions to machining, and to drastically reduce setup times.
The Xzertz™ Retractable Dowel Pin are used for location and designed to go in and out of the hole, meaning they are always located in the fixture, and ready to pop-up whenever you need them. They can be used in the slot or in the ZipBushing™ Precision Threaded Locator Bushing
The modular fixture also has locating divots that we call Livots™.
What's great about this modular fixture demo kit is that is a hybrid between a standard grid modular fixture and T-Slot fixture.
All in all, this kit will allow you to show your team members how these workholding components work!
Check out the video and let us know if you would like a demo kit to try out for yourself!
Here's the deal: We'll ship this kit to you at no cost for 30 days inspection. At the end of the 30 days, you'll ship it back, again at our cost, or you may purchase it for $199.95. Please note that any purchases that you make of our products will count towards the cost of this kit. That was easy, wasn't it?
Just, Give us a call today at 940-591-1340 and we will take your credit card number for use in case you do not return the kit. Of course, your information will be protected in our financial system.
Thanks for giving us this opportunity, guys & gals!

On today’s podcast, we interview Rick Miller, owner, and co-founder of Elijah Tooling, a company that sells innovative CNC work holding equipment. Rick has a knack for coming up with unique products and has several patents in the work holding sector. He says that innovative ideas are vital for success but getting customers to buy into those ideas is what makes for a successful business.
Question: What tool would you like to see invented?
So what we're going to do, is we're going to load our vices, we're going to load a part, we're going to probe it in, we're going to cut it. And then, we're going to go to the next step; which is to load our trunnion, load it, load a part and start it up. What's the point? Well, we're trying to show you how fast you can load and unload your parts of course. And then, also how fast it is to bring the trunnion in, and precisely locate it; get it into place and start machining with it.
